Then, type in your User name (employee id#) and Password. *For FIRST-TIME ESS USERS, your login is your employee id#, and your password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. You will then be prompted to change your password and chose a security question. Password Requirements Minimum length of 6 characters Must contain at least one number Must contain combination of upper and lower case Must contain at least one special character such as @,#,$,etc. (password cannot begin with special character) EMPLOYEE SELF SERVICE LOG OUT INSTRUCTIONS: To log out of ESS, click on the user menu at the top right corner of this screen and then click the Log Out link.
